2cureX CBO nöjd med nya avtal

9 mars, 2020

Dr. Dimitar Georgiev, vd för Paralax Life Sciences:
Maarten van der Linden, could you tell us a bit more about your new partners?
– Our new partners are healthcare distributors with a focus on cancer diagnostic products in the IVD (in vitro diagnostic) device space. They have the contacts with the public and private hospitals and have the experience to navigate in the local oncology networks in terms of KOL (Key Opinion Leader) management, market access, logistics and customer service.
– YourRad AB will support the Nordic markets: Sweden, Norway and Finland; meanwhile, Paralax Life Science Group will be responsible for the Bulgarian market. We share the same passion for precision medicine and believe that IndiTreat can make a difference for patients and caregivers in order to individualize cancer treatment
You have now entered both the Nordics and Bulgaria. These are, as far as we know, two new markets for 2cureX. What does this mean for 2cureX?
The Nordics is not completely new territory for 2cureX; we already have a partnership with a large private hospital in Finland, Docrates Cancer Hospital, and we have been involved with clinical institutions in the region through our clinical programs. These new partnerships mean that we will have “boots on the ground” in these markets, so the connections with customer groups, influencers, and other stakeholders will increase our selling activities.
Going forward, do you expect that these collaborations to increase the interest for IndiTreat on these or other markets?
– Yes, a vital part of our strategy is to collaborate with partners in order to bring IndiTreat to the customers broadly in Europe.
Dimitar Georgiev, could you tell us more about what you do at Paralax Life Sciences?

Dimitar B. Georgiev, vd för Paralax Life Sciences

– PLS is a private company that has been investing in the life science sector in Eastern Europe since 2007.
– We are deeply involved in retail genetic testing, personalised medicine, drug development, and molecular diagnostics in the clinical space.
How long have you been following the work of 2cureX and what inspired you to enter this collaboration?
– PLS has been very involved in Genomic Precision Medicine and is a big advocate of the development of precision medicine tools for both patients and clinicians. Our ecosystem is the founder of the Bulgarian Association of Personalized Medicine and of the Biotech Atelier – 2 non-profit initiatives, who channel information to the society in different ways. When 2cureX contacted me to share some thoughts about Functional Precision Medicine, I was very intrigued to hear more. The vision of individualizing cancer treatment fits very well with our initiatives within cancer care in Bulgaria.
In what capacity will Paralax Life Science be working with 2cureX?
– PLS will be a distribution partner in Bulgaria, and we will support 2cureX in successfully commercialising the IndiTreat test.
In the press release, you refer to the potential implications for Bulgarian cancer care, but you also mention other countries in the region. How important would it be for 2cureX to expand in Eastern Europe, and what would be the possible implications of such expansion?
– Eastern Europe is an important growth market for cancer diagnostics with a lot of exciting initiatives; for 2cureX it will be key to take a close look at these opportunities and we look forward to supporting this journey. There are a lot of unexplored opportunities in this part of Europe and they should be targeted properly
Tobias Hellstrand, could you tell us more about YourRad AB?
Tobias Hellstrand, medgrundarna av YourRad AB

– YourRad AB is a private company that has been working with innovative clinical solutions for oncology in the Nordics since 2007. Today, we work together with most of the larger cancer clinics and healthcare regions in the Nordics to help implement innovative products to improve patient outcome.
What compelled you to enter this partnership with 2cureX and why is this collaboration important?
– YourRad AB has a clear vision to grow as a service partner for our oncology customers throughout the Nordic region. We believe that the IndiTreat test fits very well in the philosophy to bring novel clinical solutions to the oncology market. It is a great opportunity to be able to use our market knowledge and customer insights in order to push IndiTreat into the clinic.
You obviously strongly believe in IndiTreat and its potential. When did you notice this potential, and how do you expect this collaboration to strengthen it even more?
– We heard about 2cureX some years back and felt compelled by what the technology could bring as benefits for clinicians, patients, but also society. From experience, we know about the difficulties to find the right cancer treatment for patients, and there is a need to introduce new tools in clinical practice. It is a great privilege to be part of this journey, and we look forward to this collaboration.
