In December last year, medtech Clinical Laserthermia Systems applied for FDA clearance for the second generation of the TRANBERG Thermal Therapy System with Thermoguide Workstation. The application concerned use in neurosurgery, one of three areas in which CLS are active. In late September, it was announced that clearance had been achieved. According to the company, the positive news means a breakthrough for CLS in the US – CEO Dan Mogren explained and elaborated in BioStock’s studio.
